I have been busy booking for spring 2010, and i am here to tell you that there is some cuter than cute swimwear coming! The Nautica collection is being booked right now at the Miami Swim Show, which i think is the biggest swim show in the country, and i am really impressed with what i have seen.

Looks like yellow is going to stay strong, for fall 2009, and spring 2010. I am buying heavy in yellow, as i really like what i have seen. The other collection i am buying deep in is the deep pink.Combined with your traditional navy blue, it is hot.

We should see the first collection coming in November 2009… so you early cruisers or vacationers should be excited!

I think every single parent can remember the time when you realized that you are truly on your own. Even if you felt alone in your marriage for years, this is the moment when you realize you have noone to turn to..noone to lean on… noone who has your back.

For me this moment occured about a month after i had moved into my new place. I was laying on the couch at 10pm at night just staring at the ceiling. Suddenly i heard this noise.
Beep,Beep,Beep
Ignore. Pretend it doesn’t exist…
Beep,Beep,Beep
I get up, go into the hallway by the garage door and sure enough it is the smoke alarm.

I look around, no fire. No smell of smoke. For crying out loud, the battery must be dead.
I stared at it for a few minutes, just willing it to go away.
No such luck.
I get a chair. I get a screw driver. It’s not the right kind of screwdriver. I get another screwdriver.This one looks right.
I open the lid of the smoke detector,take out the battery.Ah…relief.
I come back into the living room, I can do this…
Beep,Beep,Beep
WTF?
Back i go into the hallway.Again, i stare at it.

Can i sleep with this thing beeping all night? No.i wasn’t sleeping anyway,so it shouldn’t have been a big deal.
Can baby diva sleep thru this?Yes.
I stare.
I learned later that the smoke detectors are hardwired,and that i could have simply disconnected some wires or something and the beeping would have stopped. Oh, the benefits of hindsight…
But, at that moment i didn’t know this…
So, i did what any technologically challenged person would do… I got out a hammer, and i banged that sucker til it stopped beeping…

This is a question we got regarding the shine spray. If anyone has any advice for this gal on how to use it,please leave a comment for us.

Ok…we got our Instylers last week.  So far I like it, but yesterday I tried the shine spray for the first time.  It’s like pure oil?  I dried my hair, then spritzed it on a bit…maybe too much.  I didn’t get any shine, but did get a lot of steam when I then used the instyler.Help!    LOL

My good friend MP turned me onto the coolest tool for getting fuller and bouncier hair. Now those who know me know that i love me some big hair.

What you don’t know is that i am using the fabulous new Instyler to get this fuller look.

According to the Instyler website, the Instyler is not a brush, it’s not a flat iron, it’s not a curling iron. It is a rotating hot iron!

This product can be used to straighten hair, deliver lift, style,volume, and give limp, lifeless hair amazing body and style!

We bought one, and honestly we had no idea how to use it at first. However, when i went to the Instyler website they have great video demonstrations on how to use it.

So, for the last 2 years the hottest trend around the Brandazzo Family is the Pandora charm bracelet.

This bracelet works like this.Each bracelet is divided into three sections by small threads. Each bead is equipped with interior threads, which allows you to screw individual beads onto any bracelet segment in the order you want. The beads can move back and forth and are very eye catching.

They start with the actual bracelet. Like this silver one found inexpensively on ebay.
