We had the opportunity to participate in a charity fundraiser yesterday. We bought a table and took our Hot flops and our jewelry trees.
We were having a great time until the rain came in. Sigh.That is Michigan for you! It was a sunny day, suddenly overcast, and then pouring rain. A really nice man helped me to hurry up and get my stock out of the rain,but the day was over early.
People were buying our jewelry trees for Christmas gifts, and there was a ton of interest in our stuff.
Moral of the story- If doing outside bazaars, bring a tent!

Tommorrow night is the next scheduled swim event hosted at a good friend of the website. With gas prices so high, it is just tough to drive out to these events and be profitable. This particular hostess has really cool friends,and we love to do our events at her home. There is something about taking your stuff out to people who appreciate great prices and quality.
It recharges the batteries! This group loves the Nautica swimsuits, Matari Mixems, and we have had special requests for Leilani.
We will also take the polka dot tote bags, flip flop bags, and the rolling tote bags.

We packed up 5 racks and took the website on the road last night… We were lucky enough to be invited to participate with a handbag seller,as well as a jewelry seller in Brighton. My girlfriend Anne had her Silpada Jewelry at the show, and she seemed to have quite a crowd around it.

At these prices people were loving them!
We got the opportunity to get some of the bugs out,and get ready for some of our upcoming events. It wasn’t one of our better selling shows, but here in Michigan it is still cold. As soon as the weather breaks, we will have a huge upswing in local sales.
We got in a brand new shipment of Athena Tankinis, in the most gorgeous bright colors! We will get them photographed and onto the site next week!

We started doing these swim events in conjuction with running the website.I just had to get out amongst my people!
It has been great! I have women from last year, who are allready calling for this year. It is just a great opportunity for mothers and daughters to try on comfortable swimwear in the privacy of their own homes.
