Ladies Night Out an Opportunity to Meet New to You Businesses!

Thursday night we had our Ladies Night Out event in downtown Saline.We typically have this event twice a year,and all the businesses in the downtown offer some kind of promotion or discount.

By all accounts this was our best one ever!It was just a beautiful evening in October,and combined with the great deals and discounts it went great!Ladies Night Out

It is a good opportunity to showcase new products,clearance out products that have run their life cycle,and to introduce your business to new faces.

For the Ladies who attend,there are several opportunities to win gift baskets,free gifts with purchase,or obtain drink specials from the area restaurants.The biggest benefit though is the opportunity to get out and spend some quality time with friend,family,or coworkers.

We go, go, go in our daily lives.We deserve to take some time out of our busy schedules and just relax.

The table massage at the chiropractor or the hand massage at the salon can be just the thing you need.So when you get the opportunity to attend these low to no cost events I recommend that you do it!You may find that it will help make you feel refreshed,give you the opportunity to spend quality time with those you love, or introduce you to something new!**photo courtesy of Crown Productions

Dress For Success Fashion Show a Success!

We had our Fashion is our Passion Show on Thursday,April 29th at the Stone Arch Event Center

It was a benefit to raise money for Dress For Success Group Shot of the Models

The Event was a rousing success!
We had over 60 guests attend,and they donated generously to Dress For Success.We are currently taking donations in our retail store at 131 E.Michigan Avenue for the next week of business clothing,shoes,accessories,and handbags.

A special thank you goes out to Spotted Dog Winery for serving our guests,and donating generously.We also need to thank Stone Arch Event Center.They let us use their venue to host this event,and it is so beautiful inside!

Dress For Success Passion for Fashion

Join us for a fun Fashion Show to benefit Dress for Success. We will be offering light snacks,and drinks and will be showcasing fashions from our retail store The Bling Thing and hair styles and nails by New Hairizon Salon.

A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit an organization that i believe in Dress for Success.

From their website the mission of Dress for Success is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

Tickets are available in advance for $5 per person,or at the door for $7.We would love to know in advance if you are planning on joining us,so we know how many to prepare for.Give us a call at the boutique,or call New Hairizon!

Bid For A Cure Event

An event sponsored by Shani Inge,and her group to benefit breast cancer research was held in downtown Saline,Mi on July 1st.

I could not believe how many people came out to get signatures from the Detroit Tiger players! I heard they raised over $60,000!! How awesome is that!
