This post is a continuation of the customer service experience i had with a wholesale bag store last week.So, when i realized that of the 11 handbags,and cosmetic bags i had ordered that 5 were bad and unsellable I contacted them by phone and email.There was no response to the phone call, so i emailed.I was very polite,and to the point.The email said that i had received some damaged bags,and would like to send them back,and have replacements sent.
They responded that they would issue a call tag,but that i would have to pay shipping again if i wanted the handbags reshipped.
How can that be fair?I allready paid you almost $16 to ship this order,why should I pay another $16 to send out the bags in a sellable condition?
That is our company policy.
In that case, I will just return these,never buy from you again,and you can issue a refund to my credit card.
We don’t issue refunds to credit cards.We issue store credit only.Because your order will fall below a $100 minimum,you will have to reach the minimum plus shipping to get another order.
I don’t understand this?
I am just asking you to send the order I placed,nothing more?
I called my bank, and i can file a chargeback.However, it would have to be for the whole order.That isn’t what i want.I want to pay them for the 6 good bags.I have been buying from them for 2 years,and never had this problem.
However, now that i know what kind of company they are, I don’t want to buy from them anymore.I don’t want to have to order more bags from them,to get the money back that i allready paid.
The measure of a good company is not how they handle the good times,but how they handle the bad.This company is a bad company.They sold inferior products,and refuse to take responsibility for it.
I allready have 6 other vendors i can buy bags from,and do buy from…I can order these exact bags from someone else,I don’t need this company… Will keep you posted on how this plays out..

Every now and again i have the misfortune to run across a bad vendor.I work really hard to find good quality wholesalers,but once in a while I come across some stinky wholesale handbag sellers
Unfortunately, I came across one of these the other day. I have been ordering gorgeous animal print purses from this wholesale bag store for 2 years.I ordered some gorgeous bags,and they were delivered on Friday.
I opened the box to find that of 11 handbags, 5 were damaged and unsellable.This happens sometimes,but when i actually looked closer at 2 of the handbags, it looked as if they intentionally attempted to deceive me!The handles on the bags were laminated.It is a shiny plastic looking material.There were dull black fabric pieces sewn on the handles to hide where the handles were broken.
As bad as these bags look, the real horror was not in the items that they sent me, but their responses to the email/phone calls I made in attempt to get these returned,and replaced with undamaged product.(to be continued in the next blog post)

So, one day i was surfing the net,and i came across Keithley on facebook. Could it be? The Bob Seger of my world is in my reach?
YES!!
We facebooked her and she responded back!

Black Friday is the day many shoppers live for! The deals are fantastic, and the stores are packed. For many years the day after Thanksgiving was the day that many retail companies went back into profitability. However, there is a dark side to this weekend that most don’t talk about or publicize.That is the shoplifting,and theft problems that not only the retailers experience but their customers.
After 25 years in this business, not much surprises me. This blog post is to remind you of a few things that you can do to keep yourself and your fellow shoppers safe while you are out enjoying your shopping.
First of all, take your bags to the car frequently, and lock them in your trunk. The thieves are looking for bags that you set down while you are picking through racks, and looking around.They want to distract you. I have seen people set down their bags, turn around and the bags are gone. Do not do this!
Secondly, travel light. Leave your coat in the car,again locked in the trunk. If you must take your purse, put it across your body.The pickpockets love,love,love crowds. Your credit cards, cash, and favorite lipstick will be gone without you even knowing about it.
Third,and this one i have seen so many times i can’t believe it. Do not hang your purse, or coat on a rack while you try on a coat,sweater, or other item. You are just asking to have your purse or coat snatched. I once saw a lady hang her Coach bag on a rack of leather coats. She was surprised when a gang of 3 people came running into the mall,and ran out the door to an awaiting car with the full rack of coats,and her handbag hanging off of it.
Fourth,and this is a tough one for the divas.Dress down! Don’t draw attention to yourself! If i am a shoplifter looking to score who am i going to target? The lady with the nice handbag,and wearing the leather coat, or the gal who is in her sweats,and looks like she just rolled out of bed?
Last but not least, be aware of your surroundings.Don’t go out to your car with a gazillion bags, in the dark,and alone.This is just common sense, but people seem to get caught up in the spirit of the deals,and they forget that not everyone is your friend.
Have fun shopping,but be aware!
